Necrotising fasciitis is a severe infection of the skin, the tissue below the skin, and the fascia (fibrous tissue that separates muscles and organs), resulting in tissue death, or necrosis. The infection is rapid, fast-spreading and fatal if not detected and treated early. If not treated with antibiotics and surgery early, toxic shock and organ failure are common.
Necrotizing fasciitis may occur in anyone.
Previously healthy young people are often affected.
A lead medical scientist Working for the U.S. government desperate to find a cure for his young son recently diagnosed with Necrotizing fasciitis. The exhausted scientist works long hours recording audio files to formulate multiple solutions with no success. In disparity, the tormented father makes one last attempt for a cure. A federally protected lab generated specimen with enhanced white blood cells is secretly transmitted into the bloodstream of lab rabbits abandoned by staff. Fostering the rabbits, the scientist continues his research in a remote location. After finding a positive reaction he takes colored blood samples and stores them in containers. Under immense pressure by the worsening condition the altered blood is transported to be introduced into the boy's body. In the process of transporting the solution, his car is broken into and mistaken for tattoo ink. The thief offers the ink to the tattoo artist at a low price. Facing a financial burden, without questioning the constitution of the ink, the tattoo artist buys the ink prior to his Friday the 13th event. Enraged and in disbelief the scientist returns to the lab to find a wretched stench with an on look of steaming dead hairless rabbits plagued with death and disease. Meanwhile the tattoo owner preps his station for a young girl ready to receive her very first tattoo.
